A Thought Our God never forces himself on us. He has given us the power of choice. And, we choose how close we are to him. For many years I was not close, and oh, what I missed. When I started to become close to God I discovered a life that I never imagined. So while it is your choice, I would encourage you to get closer to this wonderful God, you will never regret it.
A Prayer Dear Father,
I thank you for the freedom of choice. As we can see in the Bible, Moses choose you and you enable him to lead his people out of slavery. Thank you for all that you have done in my life. In James 1:17 it is stated, “All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.” You have blessed my life and for that I thank you. You never change and through your Word I can see this.
I thank you for accepting me as your child, as it is written in John 1:12 “But to all who have received him—those who believe in his name—he has given the right to become God’s children” I choose to be one of your children and I ask that you help me walk in your ways and to do your will.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
