A Thought
How hard it is to trust when we have little faith. As our faith grows we find our trust grows. And once you get to the point where you truly trust Jesus your life changes. When I read Psalm 37:3-5 below it reminds me that God has always wanted us to trust him.
Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: Psalm 37:3-5 (NIV)
A Prayer
Dear Father
Thank you for your Word. And, I thank you for the teachers of today, the Pastors, the Ministers, the Professors all who have studied Your Word and Your Ways and who help us to understand it, bless them and guide them.
Jesus taught us to trust you. As he said in Matthew 6:31-32:
So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. I pray that these words spoken by Jesus are ones that I will practice.
Help others to understand and open their heart to trusting you.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
