A Thought When we think of a reservoir we think of a pool of water not moving. Whereas, a river is constantly moving. Robert Morris’s quote is a good reminder that God wants us to be moving, shining his light for others to see. He wants us to increase our knowledge and understanding of his ways. Continually growing and moving towards a likeness of Christ.
A Prayer Dear Father,
Please help me to walk in your ways and to continue to show me your wisdom to do this. I thank you for the ability to learn, to understand, and with your help to apply your ways in my life.
As it is written in Ecclesiastes 2:26, “For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.” Please God give me wisdom and direct me in the way of goodness.
