There are some that would disagree with this comment. They would argue you need money to live. And yes, I would agree with this comment but you also need to trust God to meet your needs. And this doesn't mean that you sit around and do nothing and God will drop money into your lap. The Bible is clear that God expects us to work and if we trust in him he will provide. You can have all the money in the world and still have problems. Actually some of the richest in the world are the most unhappy, they have a dissatisfaction with life.
I give thanks to you for this day in that I am able to work. Please help me to do the work you have planned for me.
In all the work that I do please let others see the light of
Jesus. Let my focus be in doing your will not on the focus of
attaining money for worldly reasons. As it is written in 2
Corinthians 9:6-9, "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also
reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap
generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in
your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God
loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you
abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you
need, you will abound in every good work."
Please help me to give my problems to you in faith trusting that you will solve them. As Jesus said in Luke 18:27, "What is impossible with man is possible with God." So I pray to you Father to guide me in the area of __________.
Jesus name I pray.
